Rules and Regulations
Note – Only Participants of Indian Nationality can participate in this event.
Theme for the story:
- The story submitted by an individual could be from their own experience or someone from the community around them.
- The theme of the story could be around working on innovative ideas, sacrifices, going beyond the call of duty, challenges encountered and surpassing those challenges through creative ideas, searching for joy and happiness in adversity, etc…
Guidelines for submission:
- The story could be in English / Hindi, in not more than 2000 words, and should strive to be neutral and objective.
- The story should be related to the theme of stories as mentioned above. In a nutshell, it must contain the core idea of stories that inspire change and spread happiness.
- At the center of the story, there should be a person or persons in the context of the theme of the story. Therefore, the story could be about a teacher, a student, a parent, a volunteer, a school, an entrepreneur, a businessman, etc. who did exemplary and extraordinary work during this challenging period to spread positivity in the community around them. The story should revolve around this person/s and his/her/their experiences.
- The story can contain dialogues / conversations / photographs / suitable graphics for its effective representation. A story may be written to appeal to the emotional side of the reader.
- In addition to the written format, the same story could also be submitted as high-quality audio in .mp3 format.
- While recording the audio, in case of audio submission, the individuals are required to take utmost care that it should not record any background noise to have effective representation.
- The individuals may narrate their story in audio files in Hindi/English.
- The length of the audio file should be no more than 15 minutes.
- Stories submitted for publication should be original and not violate any copyright law.
- Stories should be submitted for participation in the event through the registration form as provided below;
Guidelines for Publication:
- All the submitted entries will be first evaluated for their relevance as per our guidelines and then will be given opportunity to register and get published accordingly on our website within a week of submitting.
- All the written entries will be published along with their audio file (if submitted) and the brief details about the author & their photograph.
- All the audio files will also be edited using suitable graphics in video format to further publish them on our YouTube channel.
- Stories, once published, could be used by Gyaannirudra in several ways like social media posts, stories, etc., with the due credit given to their contributors for their contribution.
Inclusion of your creations in our Anniversary Celebration:
As we mark our anniversary every year on Akshaya Tritiya and we celebrate it as an occasion to inspire the community for change through sharing of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences. So, all the entries submitted here in form of stories, poetry, artworks, drawings, paintings, sketches and photographs will automatically become part of the competition going to be held as part of our anniversary celebration, if they follow the guidelines mentioned below;

- To include your creation in our anniversary celebration, the participant is required to pay a registration fee of INR
99/-49/- only. - An individual can include only 1 entry per registration amount to be a part of the competition.
- If anyone wishes to include more than 1 entry in the competition then they have to pay the registration amount accordingly.
- Since the submission to this website will be open for round the year, the entries submitted till 19.04.2025, 23:59 hrs will only be considered for competition as part of our anniversary celebration for the year 2025 subject to payment of registration fee.
- All the entries submitted after 19.04.2025 will be considered for competition as part of our anniversary celebration for next year i.e., 2026 subject to payment of registration fee and so on.
- All the entries submitted for the competitive category will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges and the results of the winner and runner-up will be announced through a virtual event and(or) our social media handles and website on Akshaya Tritiya i.e. on April 30, 2025, for the 2025 anniversary celebration.
- Winner and Runner up will be different for each category (Stories, Poems, Arts & Paintings and Photographs).
- Winner in each category will be awarded a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 1000/- while the runner up in each category will be awarded a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 500/-.
- The prizes of winner and runner-up will be delivered through postal / courier services as per convenience.
- All the winner and runner-up entries will also get featured on our platform in the Wall of fame section.
- All other entries will receive an e-certificate for their contribution to the community.
- The decision of judges will be final and binding.
- No query will be entertained for cancellation of submission or processing refund after the registeration is completed.19
