As you all know that mental health is a way to define our emotional, psychological and social well-being. More, it refers to the state of our mind to handle stress while going through the variety of situations.
Now, the question is that how this stress is generated in different situations? The simple answer to this question could be when you are forced by the external environment through different situations to change your regular way of working, it causes resistance towards this change. In more common way, this resistance is known as stress.

Let’s understand it in a bit simple way. I hope, we all are always trained to follow a regular pattern in our life. Usually, this exact way of living differs as per the individual’s life style. But, the common elements of everyone’s life style remains like as going to their respective offices / businesses etc., meeting out the needs for daily essentials, shopping / making expenses based on the standards of the society, investing the money according to the future plans and many others.
I hope, you all are even already aware of this regular pattern. Now, until you are doing good in your jobs / businesses, getting promotions, increments etc. Everything works fine for you and you start to upgrade your living standard.
But when circumstances get you demoted in your jobs / businesses, then your mind doesn’t allow you to downgrade your living standard. Simply, we have always trained to grow ourselves with every success / growth in jobs / business. But, no one has trained us to manage the life during the time of decline / failure. At this point, we are unable to accept the changes being caused by the circumstances. Therefore, it leads to stress in our mind.
Now, when this induced stress is within our adjustable limit, we always try to manage. Here, the phrase “within our adjustable limit” means that we are aware of the situation and know the timelines for bouncing back. But when situation leaves us with uncertainty, it causes that kind of stress which leaves us with disturbed mental health.
