Reminiscence, a poetry by Jesna John

Reminiscence

Reminiscence

There are some thoughts that can’t be shared.
There are some cries that can’t be heard.
There are some ties that can’t be mend.
I am my lord,
I am my slave,
I am a lone soldier,
I am my healer,
My protector,
When I smile the world will smile.
I see,
the beauty of all.
My world is built by me.
Inside and out,
I can bend but can’t break.
What matters at the end,
Is that,
I lived a life,
worth remembering.
